Our story
At Landor we take inspiration from our founder, Walter Landor, who in 1964 purchased a retired ferryboat called the Klamath and repurposed it as the company’s headquarters. Walter’s daring turned an office into an experience, attracting both clients and talent to the floating workshop on San Francisco Bay.
Today, the Klamath represents our determination to look at the world, as well as our clients and their challenges, with fresh eyes. This philosophy sets us apart and makes Landor one of the most sought-after authorities on branding, design, and creativity.
Walter Landor invented branding. We’ve been reinventing it ever since.
