Radio 24. A new tagline. A new identity.

MILAN (26 October 2016) — Radio 24—Italy’s first news and talk radio station, part of Gruppo 24 Ore publishing group—has launched a new visual identity and tagline created in partnership with Landor Milan.

Founded in 1999, Radio 24 has long promoted clear educational content across a variety of categories, from economic and finance programs to daily news stories, sociopolitical pieces, and topical insights. At an important time of transition, Radio 24 decided to refresh its positioning to better express its values and ensure future success.

In creating a new visual identity and tagline for Radio 24, Landor Milan drew inspiration from Jupiter, a planet rich in metaphoric value. From its expression in astronomical symbols to its mythological associations with lightning and strength, Landor imbued Radio 24’s new identity with deep meaning—also allowing for a visual interpretation of “24.”

To more directly represent the mission of the radio station, its new tagline, Libera la voglia di fare (“Free your desire to do”), has replaced its previous tagline, La passione si sente (“Passion is heard”). The new tagline communicates that Radio 24 is not just a vehicle for words, but also for facts—an active player in the cultural and civil growth of Italy.
