MILAN (11 October 2016) — Landor has announced the appointment of Michele Genghi as creative director of the Milan office. Antonio Marazza, general manager of Landor Milan, calls it a “well-deserved promotion.” He continued, “In less than three years, Michele has built and successfully led a solid design team that is diverse and highly professional, allowing our office to excel in very different disciplines—from type design to digital branding—with the aim of creating 360-degree brand experiences and improving our creative reputation both in Italy and internationally. Now new challenges await him.”

Michele Genghi graduated with honors in graphic design from the Istituto Superiore di Design of Naples and completed his education with work experience in New York. Prior to joining Landor, Michele founded and directed his own agency, and was later design director at CB’A Design. At Landor, he has worked on major branding projects for clients such as Alitalia, Amplifon, AVM Group, Banca Mediolanum, CartaSi, Generali, Lamborghini, Lavazza, and UniCredit. He previously worked with clients that included Barilla, BAT, Carrefour, De Cecco, Kraft, Nestlé, and Telecom Italia.

He has been honored with several national and international awards from groups such as the Type Directors Club, Venice Biennale, World Design Capital, Red Dot, Pentawards, Graphis, and German Design.

It allows us to persevere and glimpse in every problem an opportunity to evolve.
