MUMBAI (15 April 2019) – Lulu Raghavan, managing director of the Mumbai office of Landor, was named one of India’s 50 most influential women in media, marketing, and advertising in 2019 by Impact, a weekly industry news publication. The honor marks Raghavan’s second feature on the annual ranking.
Impact’s list recognizes women whose work in media has positively affected not only their organization, but also produced exceptional results for clients in the past year. All honorees were selected by a jury of industry leaders led by Sam Balsara, chairman and managing director of Madison World communications group.
Raghavan has led corporate and consumer branding programs for clients such as National Stock Exchange, Mahindra, Godrej, Aditya Birla, Taj Group, Tata Global Beverages, Sony Pictures Networks, Axis Bank, Wipro, Usha Martin and Britannia. She is a voracious reader and writes frequently on the power of brand to drive business growth. Lulu is also a columnist for Thrive Global, the world’s largest well-being media platform, founded by Arianna Huffington.
“I first met Lulu when Landor was working on a corporate brand architecture assignment for the Mahindra group. Over the years, I have watched her grow Landor’s presence in India by being an evangelist for the value that branding and design deliver to a business. Lulu has a strategic mind and empathy for her clients. She is a natural relationship builder and someone who can look at the big picture and bring it to life in the work. She has been able to develop and deliver a globally benchmarked and locally relevant brand consulting and design offer in the Indian market. We value Lulu and Landor’s contributions to some of our businesses over the years”, said Anand Mahindra, MD & Chairman, Mahindra Group.
Lulu accepted her award on the 27th of March in Mumbai at an event attended by industry leaders and produced by television channel &TV.
