Landor enhances strategic capabilities with new regional director of EMEA

PARIS (1 May 2017) — Global leader in brand consulting and design Landor has appointed Luc Speisser as regional strategy director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Building on his success as managing director of Landor’s Paris and Geneva offices, Speisser will now lead and oversee the development of Landor’s strategy teams across the wider region. This will involve developing effective working methods and systems to boost innovation and deepen the role strategy plays in the design process—something Landor has long championed.

Additionally, Speisser will work closely with Landor’s insights & analytics team to prototype new tools and techniques for testing creative ideas and predicting the results of campaigns when they are still in the planning phase.

Speisser joined Landor in 2005 as executive director of brand strategy in Landor’s Paris office. He focused primarily on building a robust strategic planning team and accelerating the development of the Paris office’s strategic practice and credentials. He also spearheaded the development of various new tools and programs to boost innovation and consumer-centric thinking. This included Landor Families, an ongoing observation of ten French families set up to generate unique insights into modern consumer behavior, which has continued to reveal valuable information for the office’s strategic planning.

Following his success in the role, Speisser was promoted to managing director of Landor Paris, and then became managing director of Landor Geneva as well. Since then, he has won and led numerous ambitious and long-lasting branding programs for major blue chip companies including AXA, Citroën, LVMH, Mondelēz, P&G, Orange, and Volvic.

Under Speisser’s direction, Landor Paris has collected 55 creative awards since 2013 including seven Cannes Lions and seven D&AD Pencils. With five Lions awarded in 2015, Landor Paris was the world’s most awarded branding and design agency at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity that year.
