Mindy Romero is
director of public relations for Landor Associates, responsible for
promoting its spokespeople, client work, thought leadership, and
experience across industries and practices to elevate Landor’s
profile in the media and with its audiences.
Partnering with WPP sister agencies
Cohn & Wolfe and Penn Schoen Berland, Mindy supervised the
successful relaunch of Landor’s ImagePower® surveys, which gauge
consumer perceptions on brand-related issues. Since 2006, as part
of this series, Mindy has worked on the annual design and launch of
the ImagePower Green Brands Survey, along with Esty Environmental
Partners and Newsweek, measuring consumer perceptions of green
brands and corporate sustainability practices. Since its inception,
over 35,000 respondents in nine countries have contributed to the
survey. Other research-driven thought leadership initiatives Mindy
has managed include the 2012 Global Corporate Reputation Index,
launched at the 2012 World Economic Forum in Davos, and Forbes
magazine’s “The World’s Most Powerful Brands” list.
As an integral member of Landor’s
global corporate marketing and communications team, Mindy has more
than 10 years of experience. She works to develop best practices,
resources, and events to share across the global network, while
partnering and advising senior leadership on a variety of corporate
communications and public relations issues. Mindy also works with
client leaders on publishing thought leadership articles and helps
to promote client work for external media coverage. Mindy has
managed select client work at the firm, including the rebranding of
the Arthur W. Page Society, a membership organization for senior
corporate communications and public relations practitioners.
Mindy began her career at Landor as a
high school intern in the human resources department. Through the
years she gained deep institutional knowledge, working across a
variety of departments including finance, project management, and
new business development for Latin America. Officially joining the
firm in 2004 as a marketing associate, Mindy worked with marketing
communications and new business development teams across the
Landor, Young & Rubicam, and WPP networks.
Mindy speaks fluent English and
