Luc Speisser is
managing director of the Paris office of Landor Associates.
He joined Landor in 2005 as executive
director of brand strategy with the goal of building a robust
strategic planning team and accelerating the development of the
Paris office's strategic practice, offer, and credentials. He has
been at the forefront of numerous branding programs for both
fast-moving consumer goods and corporate clients. These clients
include Accor Hotels, Citroën, Danone, Decathlon, the European
Commission, Kraft Foods, Procter & Gamble, RATP, SNCF (French
National Railways), and Syngenta. Luc has also been responsible for
ensuring the quality and the evolution of the naming and writing
offer.
Luc has pioneered new methods and
tools to improve the quality of strategic output and reinforce the
strategic process as the first step toward successful creative
thinking and design. He spearheaded the Landor Families program, an
ongoing observation of 10 French families that was set up to
generate consumer insights and new ideas. He also helped develop
and enhance the innovation practice throughout Landor worldwide via
Innoweek, a fast-track innovation incubator.
Before joining Landor, Luc worked in
advertising at Australie (Havas Group), Lowe & Partners
Worldwide (Interpublic Group), and BETC Euro RSCG (Havas Group) for
a broad range of clients: BNP Paribas, Cadbury Schweppes, The
Coca-Cola Company, the French government's Department for Traffic
and Road Safety, League Against Cancer, Société Générale, and
Unilever, among others.
Luc's expertise also extends to
influencing and changing behaviors, particularly within difficult
subject areas. For 10 years, Luc worked on AIDS prevention and
other health-related issues at various foundations before becoming
the deputy communication director of the French Committee for
Health Education (known today as INPES). During this period he was
also a communications consultant for the United Nations.
Luc graduated from the
Celsa-University of Paris-Sorbonne, where he is now a permanent
staff member teaching classes on branding. He speaks English and
German fluently.
