David Keefe is senior client director
in the New York office of Landor Associates. David has considerable
brand consulting and client side experience within the media,
telecommunication, and entertainment sectors.
Prior to Landor, David worked at Firefly Millward Brown (formerly
Greenfield Consulting Group), where he reported to the CEO and
assisted in the development and implementation of strategic
planning, innovation, and new product development, as well as
leading the firm's corporate rebranding.
Before his role at Firefly, David was global director of
Siegel+Gale's media and entertainment practice. David built the
firm's client roster to include Comcast, CBS, Sprint (Pivot), HD
Radio, tru2way, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Canoe
Ventures, Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing
(CTAM ), CableLabs, Bloomberg, Music Choice, Consumer
Reports, and the Boston Globe.
Earlier in his career, David was the director of worldwide
marketing and advertising for Liberty Media's On Command
Corporation. Prior to this David worked in marketing and business
development at Time Warner on top-of-class brands such as
People, Money, Entertainment Weekly, Time, Fortune, Life,
and Warner Music. He began his career in sales and marketing while
at Unilever USA, working on masterbrand franchises such as Vaseline
Intensive Care lotion, Pond's cleansers, and Mentadent.
An active public speaker, David has presented at the Consumer
Electronics Show, National Cable Show, TV of Tomorrow conference,
Media Summit New York, Billboard Magazine's advertising
summit, CTAM's On Demand forum, and the National Association of
Multi-Ethnicity in Communications Conference.
David earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina's
Kenan-Flagler Business School and his BA from Duke University,
where he was also a four-year letterman on Duke's nationally ranked
men's lacrosse team. He now lives in Connecticut with his wife and
two daughters and enjoys coaching lacrosse, mountain biking,
playing tennis, and studying tae kwon do.
